Contract Markups/Tax Structures
W2 Status
Did other agencies utilize an average 50-60% markup when calculating your Contract W2 rate?
Ethoa Group utilizes an average of 25-35% markup and still offers higher pay rates than its competitor for the same role.
Ethoa Group utilizes a much lower markup that should give you enough to purchase benefits for yourself and your family if you choose to do so.
C2C status is welcome at Ethoa Group.
Corp-to-Corp (C2C)
The markup difference is usually around 6% lower for C2C candidates because the agency is not responsible for certain taxes. Contact an accountant for specifics.

C2C status memo
Most agencies will tell candidates that W2 status is the only option (you become an agency employee). Based on our research and experience, we know that this is often misleading and untrue.
Our founder has been contracting for 27 years. She has "pushed the envelope" on many occasions and won. Most clients (including the State government) do not care if you are hired as W2 or C2C. This may vary by manager.
Whether a client will agree to hire a candidate with C2C depends on how strong of a candidate you are AND how much the agency wants to make the placement. Keep this in mind when interviewing with other agencies: decide how much you want to push the issue, and get a sense of how strong your chances are by asking the right questions. Good luck!

Candidate Referrals
We offer $500 referral fees. Ethoa will pay the person referring after we receive payment from the client and the check has cleared. Contact us for more details.
Client Referrals
We offer $750 - $2,000 referral fees. The size of the fee depends on the size of the account & number When partnering with another recruiter; we often offer a sign-on bonus on full-time placements within our own network of candidates we have placed...Ethoa will pay the person referring after we receive payment from the client and the check has cleared.
