The following represents questions we have posed to Clients and Candidates over the years:
- Candidates agree their rep came across as honest, transparent, and professional throughout the interview and hiring process, from beginning to end. They also liked how available the rep is to her/him after being hired.
- Candidates agree unanimously that they were they were offered a much higher pay rate by the Ethoa rep than other recruiters. Competitors typically include a markup of 50-60%, compared to Ethoa's mark-up of 25-40%. One might think that the Competitor would pay the Candidate more with this increased mark-up? This is not the case. In fact, Competitors keep most of that profit as just that -- profit. We are the underdog --- and yet, we are the company that is offering better pay rates and benefits by far... Fortunately, Ethoa Group is not alone. Our founder and reps have been contractors and encountered a few awesome agencies that share a similar philosophy to that of Ethoa...We want our Candidate to have the most advantage, so we will often "undercut" the competitors by offering a lower rate to the Client. Our Candidate then would be given first consideration. This benefits both the Client and Candidate. We also offer the Candidate a higher pay rate. There are exceptions to the above. - Clients agree that sending a video clip with the resume is a great practice because it provides a visual and audio to the candidate's submission...
- Candidates agree that we have very good Clients in the tech industry. Some of the accouns have been referred by project managers whom we have either worked with and/or placed ...
- Candidates agree that they were very pleased that Ethoa pays higher rates (lower markup) and sign-on bonuses. We choose to do this so our contractors when the margin is there.
- Candidates and Clients agree that offering "after-hours" during the week and Saturday is generous, and at times necessary.
- Candidates and Clients agree that the Customer experience was very good to excellent. Ethoa has experienced a 75% referral rate from Candidates, and a 55% referral rate from Clients...
- Candidates and Clients agree that our reps are much better at communicating than the recruiters employed with with our competitors. The rep is also able to delve more deeply into the role and answer more questions about the job description and role.
- Clients agree that we have a much better turnaround and place our candidates more quickly and effectively.. This is possible because our rep is in a combo role - she is able to cut down on the "back and forth" messaging. The same person that communicates with the manager also communicates with the candidate.

- Clients agree that our Candidates (placements) are more prepared on the "Start Date". The Clients also mentioned that the Candidates often shared how happy they were with Ethoa Group.
This may be due to one of the following:
- The rep's knowledge and experience puts the candidate at ease. The rep is able to answer any questions about benefits, the wellness program, and getting them set up with accounting.
- The candidates are often pleasantly surprised to find that we offer great benefits, 401K matching and a wellness program to our W2 contractors. This is very unusual in this industry.
- Our reps show a passion in their daily interactions and they are invested in what the teams are trying to achieve.
